Rob goes to Corfe Castle

Corfe Castle was the next place on our itenary whilst down in Dorset – The campsite we were staying on was not far from Corfe Castle so we walked there – it was a really nice walk which we did as a circular route. There seems to be 2 main places to park and it does seem to be a very popular place. We spent a couple of hours in the castle grounds looking round, there’s a great view of the train track which the old steam train uses.

The castle looks pretty spectacular as you approach it and the views from it are amazing.

Rob promises it wasn’t him that destroyed the castle, it was those pesky Parlimentarians in 1646.
